Cole Beasley sent an interesting tweet on Friday about the Dallas Cowboys’ release of Dez Bryant. Earlier in the day, the Cowboys announced their decision to release wide receiver Bryant, a move that freed up nearly $9 million in cap space. Following the news, Cowboys defensive players Taco Charlton and Jaylon Smith took to their respective Twitter accounts to show Bryant some love. One Twitter user wondered why members of the Dallas offense hadn’t sent similar tributes to Bryant.

Spurs rule Kawhi Leonard out for Game 1 to nobody’s surprise  

The San Antonio Spurs have ruled out Kawhi Leonard for Game 1 of their playoff series against the Golden State Warriors, to the surprise of nobody. Nazem Kadri has been suspended three games by the NHL for boarding Tommy Wingels during the third period of Game 1 between the Toronto Maple Leafs and Boston Bruins on Thursday.
